Hankache Calls for Ushering Action in Joseph Hannouche Kidnapping Case

Kataeb MP Elias Hankache on Friday pushed for steered action in the case of Joseph Samy Hannouche, father of three young children, who has been kidnapped three weeks ago in the Bekaa on the Zahle-Baalbeck road.

“It’s been 24 days since the abduction of the head of a household Joseph Hannouche, and his fate is still unknown until today,” Hankache wrote on Twitter.

“The kidnappers are demanding a ransom. The security agencies should follow up on this case if he is in Lebanon and if he has been hauled to Syria, the Foreign Ministry should act immediately,” he urged.

“We either live in a state that is concerned with its peoples’ fate or else at a time when the law of the jungle prevails,” he added.
