Kataeb leader Samy Gemayel on Monday urged wisdom and restraint in the wake of the shooting that rattled Chouf and killed two of Minister Saleh Al-Gharib's bodyguards.
“Holding onto wisdom and refraining from getting dragged into violence are needed today more than ever before. The page of war has been turned for good and the Mountain Reconciliation has been well established with the late Patriarch Boutros Sfeir’s blessing,” Gemayel tweeted.
“May the souls of the victims rest in peace, as we also wish a speedy recovery to the injured,” he added.
