Kataeb MP Elias Hankache on Thursday urged the government not to approve the telecommunications minister's proposal to increase the tariffs of mobile services.
“Austere policies consist of a strict budget for ministries’ spending, travels of delegations, and other expenditures. Revenues are boosted by controlling squandering, and ending customs and tax evasion," Hankache wrote on Twitter.
"Let's not put our hands in people’s pockets which can no longer tolerate any hikes!"
