Gemayel Says Lebanon Going Through 'Difficult' Phase

Former President Amine Gemayel described the current situation in Lebanon as "difficult", pointing out to the lingering refugee crisis, economic hardships, corruption and the inefficiency of supervisory bodies that are all burdening the country.

Gemayel was addressing Lebanese expatriates following a mass he attended at Our Lady of Lebanon Co-cathedral in Sydney.

The service was officiated by Father Tony Sarkis and attended by representatives of different Lebanese parties.
