Geagea Criticizes Axis of Resistance for Presidential Vacuum

Lebanese Forces Party leader, Samir Geagea, criticized the Axis of Resistance, holding them responsible for the country's paralysis amid challenging circumstances.

He called for Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri to fulfill his constitutional duties by convening a session for presidential elections with consecutive rounds until a new president is elected. Geagea condemned the National Moderation Bloc's initiative, accusing it of cornering the resistance and obstructing the constitutional process.

He denounced the bloc's insistence on electing a president aligned with the resistance, which perpetuates the presidential vacuum, constitutional chaos, and political instability.

Geagea also accused the bloc of obstructing elections while advocating for its preferred candidate, undermining dialogue and unity efforts.
