The Lebanese basketball legend Fadi El Khatib is officially returning to the Sagesse Sports Club.
“Today, history is rewritten. The legend of Lebanese basketball and Sagesse Sports Club Fadi el Khatib returns to his first home,” said the sports club via its Instagram page.
42-year-old Fadi El Khatib, nicknamed “the Lebanese Tiger,” is a professional basketball player who retired from the Lebanese national team in 2020 after 23 years of playing.
He was one of the main reasons for Sagesse’s rise in the West Asian club basketball during the late 1990s.
