Kataeb Media Department issued the following statement:

"Since the beginning of Gaza war and Hezbollah's forceful intervention in Lebanon, Hezbolla's various voices have not ceased to make accusations, spread lies, and defame Kataeb Leader MP Samy Gemayel.

Hezbollah will gather its mercenaries, media aggressors, bloggers posing as religious figures (some with questionable morals), writers for a cheap price, and those with a submissive 'history' under the Syrian boot, all aimed at attacking Gemayel. Lebanese citizens are tired of these repeated, baseless, and ridiculous accusations.

Of course, we will not respond to them. They are exposed, insignificant, and recipients. However, we emphasize for the millionth time to their puppeteers that these campaigns will not affect us or our national commitment. Our struggle to build a strong and capable state will continue unaffected, just as these campaigns have not influenced us in the past. Instead, they only strengthen our determination to face Hezbollah's destructive plans in the political arena."
