Kataeb Leader Congratulates Father Hadi Mahfouz
Kataeb delegation headed by Leader Samy Gemayel on Friday visited Father Hadi Mahfouz at St. Anthony Monastery Khashabao in Ghazir, Lebanon.
The visit was on the occasion of the election of Father Hadi Mahfouz as President of the Lebanese Maronite Order.
Gemayel wished Abbot Mahfouz and the board of administrators success in their new duties, stressing the essential role played by the Lebanese Order, especially in the difficult circumstances the country is experiencing.
The meeting was attended by General Secretary of the Order, Father Tony Eid, General Agent Father Charbel Fayyad, Secretary Father Johny Maroun, Abbot Father Elie Yammine and Fathers: Michel Bou Taqqa, Tony Fakhri, Joseph el Qamar and Nassim Hage.
On the Kataeb side: Kataeb leader Samy Gemayel and his wife Mrs. Carine, Deputy Head of the Kataeb party Georges Jreij, Former Economy Minister Dr. Alain Hakim, Kataeb Lawmaker Elias Hankach, Political Bureau Member Faraj Kerbage, and Bickfaya Mayor Nicole Gemayel.
