Kataeb Party bloc, headed by MP Samy Gemayel, met with the Personal Envoy of French President Jean-Yves Le Drian, and French Ambassador Anne Grillo at the Pine Palace with talks featuring high on the presidential file.

After the meeting, Gemayel tweeted: “A frank meeting with the Personal Envoy of French President Jean-Yves Le Drian, during which we presented the approach of Kataeb Party to the presidential file.”

“We also presented a written roadmap for a solution based on restoring the sovereignty of the state, lifting the imposed guardianship, and implementing necessary reforms to overcome the crisis,” he added.

The meeting was attended by Lawmakers Selim Sayegh and Nadim Gemayel, and Kataeb Political Bureau Member Joelle Bou Aboud.
