Joe Noon’s Family Commemorates the Second Anniversary of His Martyrdom

The family of the Beirut fire brigade martyr, Joe Noon, commemorated the second anniversary of his martyrdom by unveiling a monument honoring the late at a mass held for the comfort of his soul in the courtyard of Saint Joseph Church near his home in the village of Meshmesh.  

It was chaired by the victim's uncle, Reverend George Sawma, assisted by parish servant Monsignor Nabih al-Turs, Reverend Tony Hardan, and Father Damiano Puccini, and served by the loving family choir - Meshmesh-led by Charbel Sawma.

The mass was attended by Kataeb lawmaker Nadim Gemayel, Beirut Governor Marwan Abboud, Mayor Simaan Al-Khoury, and the town Mayor Joseph Demian, Youmna Bashir Gemayel, Head of the Regional Office of Civil Defense in Byblos District Shakib Ghanem, several families of the Beirut fire brigade martyrs, as well as relatives and comrades of late Joe Noon.
