Israeli Military Claims It Targeted Hezbollah Sites in Beirut

The Israeli military reported conducting airstrikes on Hezbollah-related sites in Beirut, allegedly targeting weapon production facilities and operational headquarters.

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee stated that the Thursday night strikes were based on "precise intelligence."

He claimed that several Hezbollah intelligence and air defense sites were hit, all located within residential buildings.

According to Adraee, this location choice reflects Hezbollah’s alleged practice of using civilians as "human shields."

The military also claimed to have taken precautions prior to the strikes, including warning residents in the affected areas, to "minimize the risk of civilian casualties."
