Following evacuation warnings issued to residents, the Israeli army conducted a series of airstrikes in the southern Lebanese coastal city of Tyre. The Israeli military confirmed that the strikes targeted key facilities associated with Hezbollah, including weapons depots, operational buildings, and observation posts.
"Tyre is a major Hezbollah stronghold, particularly for the Aziz regional unit, which orchestrates attacks on Israel," read a statement issued by the Israeli army.
The airstrikes were preceded by an urgent warning issued by Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee, who addressed residents via the social media platform X. Adraee urged individuals living in specific areas of Tyre—particularly those in buildings along Dr. Ali Khalil, Hiram, Mohammed Al-Zayyat, and Nabih Berri streets—to evacuate immediately.
"Hezbollah's activities compel the Israeli army to act forcefully against it, and we do not intend to harm you," he stated, instructing residents to move north of the Litani River to avoid the conflict.

Meanwhile, Lebanese Civil Defense personnel from the Qlayaa center came under warning artillery fire from the Israeli military while attempting to extinguish a fire that broke out in the olive groves of Burj al-Muluk town. The attack forced them to withdraw before they could complete their firefighting mission.
Additionally, Israeli warplanes carried out a series of strikes targeting the mountains of Al-Batam, Baafleh, and Al-Barghiliyeh.
Lebanon's Health Ministry announced that at least 21 people were killed on Monday in Israeli airstrikes on three different areas in southern Lebanon.
Nine people were killed and 38 wounded in a strike on Haret Saida, near the port city of Sidon, the ministry said, with at least seven others including a nurse and three rescuers killed in the southern village of Ain Baal and five in Burj al-Shemali.
