The military also reported reaching the Wadi Saluki area, adding it had uncovered a significant Hezbollah weapons cache in both locations.
In Wadi Saluki, commandos from Israel's elite Commando Brigade conducted raids on Hezbollah positions. According to the Israeli army, the operation yielded the discovery and seizure of hundreds of weapons, dozens of bunkers, and multiple rocket launchers already primed for use.
Simultaneously, in the Litani River area, units including the Alexandroni Brigade, the 769th “Hiram” Regional Brigade, the Golani Brigade’s reconnaissance unit, and the Israeli Air Force’s Shaldag unit executed coordinated raids on Hezbollah sites.
The Israeli army reported intense clashes with Hezbollah gunmen near the river. During the confrontations, Israeli troops uncovered and destroyed dozens of rocket launchers, hundreds of rockets, and several weapons depots hidden within the mountainside.
