Israel Releases Data on Hezbollah Fighters in Custody

The Israel Prison Service has released updated statistics on Palestinian and Arab prisoners and detainees, saying that 31 Hezbollah fighters and one minor are currently being held while still under interrogation in Israeli custody.

According to its latest report, the agency added that six other fighters linked to Hezbollah have already received court sentences.

It also noted the existence of a separate “unidentified” category in its records, which may include additional Hezbollah members. However, authorities said these identities are not disclosed due to what they described as security considerations.

The Prison Service indicated that the figures refer to the period prior to the 2026 conflict, during which Israel has said it detained additional fighters.
