Israel Issues Another Evacuation Warning to Southern Lebanese Villages

The Israeli army issued on Sunday another urgent message to residents of multiple villages in southern Lebanon, warning them to evacuate their homes immediately due to escalating tensions with Hezbollah.

In a post on X, Israeli army's spokesperson Avichay Adraee called for the swift evacuation of specific villages, citing Hezbollah’s activities as the primary cause for concern.

The villages listed for evacuation include Markaba, Rab al-Thalathin, Taloussa, Taybeh, Qantara, Deir Siryan, Froun, Qusair, Hariss, Tebnine, Kafra, Deir Ntar, Rashkenaniyeh, Sidqine, Ramadiyeh, Qana, Hanawiyah, Aitit, Maysat, Humayri, and Bastita.

“The IDF does not intend to harm you. For your safety, you must evacuate your homes immediately and move north of the Awali River,” Adraee stated, urging residents to act quickly as any delays could endanger their lives. “To ensure your safety, you must evacuate without delay.”

The military spokesperson also cautioned civilians against remaining near Hezbollah members, facilities, or weapons, warning that doing so could put their lives at serious risk.

“Anyone near Hezbollah members, their facilities, or their weapons is putting their life at risk,” he said.

In a clear directive, Adraee stated that movement toward the southern region of Lebanon is strictly prohibited.

"You are forbidden from heading south. Any movement towards the south could endanger your life," he cautioned. "We will inform you at the appropriate time when it is safe to return to your homes once the conditions allow for it."
