The Israeli army has released footage showcasing the construction of temporary army posts on the Syrian side of Mount Hermon, where troops have been stationed since the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime last month.
According to the Israeli military, the Technological and Logistics Directorate has played a critical role in providing the necessary resources to the troops deployed atop the mountain. These include insulated structures designed to protect the soldiers from extreme cold, ensuring that they can remain stationed in the area through the winter.
Among the key facilities built within the army posts is a medical building equipped specifically to treat cold weather injuries, which are common in such extreme conditions. The army has also provided its forces with generators, heating devices, and specially designed clothing and footwear to protect against the snow and freezing temperatures.
