Israel Considers Extended Military Presence in Southern Lebanon Amid Ceasefire Violations

"Haaretz" reported that the Israeli military is preparing to potentially extend its presence in southern Lebanon beyond the 60-day timeframe outlined in the ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah.

According to the report, Israeli forces would remain in the area if the Lebanese army failed to establish complete control over southern Lebanon.

Meanwhile, Lebanon has accused Israel of multiple breaches of the ceasefire, including an airstrike carried out by the Israeli military on Wednesday in Baalbek, a city in the Beqaa Valley.
