ISF: Percentage of Crimes Decreased by 26.2% During 2023 Compared to 2022

The ISF Directorate General - Public Relations Division has published a statistical table on some significant crimes (murder, robbery, car theft, qualified theft, snatching, etc.) committed during the year 2023. The table showed a noticeable decline compared to the year 2022, with the arrest of 12,299 individuals during the past year.

The results are as follows:

The Division emphasized that despite the difficult conditions in Lebanon, its forces are ready to fulfill their security duties to ensure the protection of Lebanese and residents across the country.

This is achieved through cooperation and coordination with various military and security agencies. They encourage everyone to show responsibility by cooperating with reporting crimes through the emergency number 112 and ensuring the application and respect of existing laws, as security is a shared responsibility.
