Hamade: Stop Insisting on Frangieh and Let's Look for a Centrist Candidate

MP Marwan Hamade indicated that the five-party meeting was unlikely to yield a candidate as the matter of presidential elections is an internal issue but with an international and regional cover.

"The upcoming president must hold centrist, reformist, and sovereign qualities and must make efforts to bring investments back to the country," Hamade said during an interview with Voice of Lebanon radio station.

"Stop insisting on Sleiman Frangieh and let's look for a centrist candidate," he concluded.
