French ambassador to Lebanon Anne Grillo on Sunday called on the Lebanese to vote for those who will defend their rights and aspirations in Parliament.

"My Lebanese friends, on this day that witnesses important elections for the future of your country, you have the opportunity to vote for those who will represent you in Parliament, and they will have the task of defending your rights and aspirations to build the Lebanon you want,” Grillo wrote on twitter.

“Your participation has an impact,” she noted.
