Kataeb Party leader Samy Gemayel met with European Parliament members Paolo Inselvini and Nicolas Bay at his office in Bikfaya in a visit aimed at assessing Lebanon’s political and economic situation.

During the talks, Gemayel highlighted the importance of international support for Lebanon at this critical phase, with a particular focus on placing all weapons under State control. He described this as a crucial step toward strengthening the country’s sovereignty and establishing stable institutions.

The delegation also underscored the role of the international community in Lebanon’s reconstruction and economic revival, stressing that cooperation with Lebanon’s sovereign and reform-oriented forces is essential to help the country overcome its longstanding political and financial crises.

The meeting was attended by Kataeb political bureau member George Jamhouri and Anthony Bou Abboud, member of the party’s Foreign Affairs Department.
