Kataeb leader Samy Gemayel on Wednesday received KSA Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Bukhari, with talks featuring high on the most recent developments, especially the impending deadlines in Lebanon.

Arab and Western nations confirmed during the meeting their desire to help the Lebanese state. This first requires that Lebanon restore its decision-making powers and regain its political clout so that it can engage in negotiations with other countries and implement reforms.

The nations saw the aforementioned action as the fundamental starting point for any kind of international assistance.

It was an opportunity for Gemayel to express his congratulations to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on his selection as prime minister, hoping that this step would bring further prosperity and progress to the Kingdom and the people thereof.

The meeting was attended by Kataeb lawmakers Nadim Gemayel and Elias Hankach, the party's Foreign Affairs Head Michel Abou Abdallah, Kataeb's Foreign Relations Coordinator Marwan Abdallah, and KSA Embassy’s First Secretary Mr. Faisal Al-Amoudi.
