I Lost My Brother in the Beirut Port Explosion. Where Is the Justice?
The people of Lebanon are marking five years since the Beirut port explosion of August 4, 2020 – a blast that has been described as one of the largest non-nuclear explosions in history. The detonation pulverised the port, ruined vast sections of the city and was felt as far away as Cyprus. It also claimed the lives of more than 220 people, injured more than 7,000 more and left more than 300,000 homeless.

Saudi Arabia's Deputy FM: We Refuse Hezbollah Practices Backed by Iran
Saudi Arabia's Deputy Foreign Minister Walid al-Khuraji on Friday stressed the Kingdom’s utter rejection to any Hezbollah practices in Lebanon, voicing ongoing support to the Lebanese people.
“The kingdom will always stand beside the Lebanese people, but it will refuse any Hezbollah practices backed by Iran, are obstructing the political life in the country and are providing protection to the corruption,” he wrote on Twitter.
