Kataeb Party leader Samy Gemayel delivered a message of hope and perseverance on Easter Sunday, invoking the spirit of renewal that the holiday represents and expressing faith in Lebanon’s eventual recovery despite the country’s ongoing struggles.

“In Easter, hope is renewed, and light triumphs over darkness,” Gemayel wrote on his X account. 

Reflecting on the state of Lebanon, Gemayel acknowledged the nation’s deep wounds but said he remains confident in its ability to rise again.

“Lebanon, despite its wounds, is steadily walking toward its resurrection,” he said. “A blessed Easter to a nation whose will cannot be broken, and to a people who never lose faith in a better tomorrow,” he added.
