Gemayel, Jumblat Stress Need for Closer Communication to Address National Challenges
Kataeb Party leader Samy Gemayel met Monday with Progressive Socialist Party leader and MP Taymour Jumblat at the Kataeb headquarters in Saifi, where the two men reaffirmed ties between their parties and reviewed the latest developments in the country.
The meeting focused on Lebanon’s current political landscape and a number of key national issues, as the country navigates a period of fast-moving political and economic change.
Both leaders stressed the need to maintain close coordination and regular communication in the period ahead, saying stronger cooperation would serve the national interest and help the country confront ongoing challenges.
Talks also addressed ways to deepen collaboration between the Kataeb Party and the Progressive Socialist Party, particularly as Lebanon faces intensifying political and economic pressures.
Progressive Socialist Party Secretary-General Zafer Nasser and Serge Dagher, the Kataeb Party’s adviser for political and electoral affairs, also attended the meeting.
