Former Energy and Water Minister Walid Fayyad is set to appear before North Lebanon Investigative Judge Samaranda Nassar for questioning related to the Mseilha Dam case, according to local media outlet MTV.
The Mseilha Dam project, located in northern Lebanon, has faced scrutiny in recent years over alleged mismanagement and corruption.
Fayyad served as energy minister from 2021 to 2025, a period marked by Lebanon’s worsening energy crisis.
