The Italian house was selling the product on Nordstrom’s website for $790, before changing its name to “Indy Full Head Wrap” following criticism.
The item appears to be listed as “sold out” on the website.
“The Sikh turban is not a fashion accessory, but it’s also a sacred religious article of faith. We hope more can be done to recognize this critical context. #appropriation,” the Sikh Coalition denounced on Twitter.
