A series of design sketches made by late fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld are set to be auctioned this week in the United States two months after his death.
The 125 sketches, that Lagerfeld drew during his tenure at the House of Tiziani in Rome, have been privately owned since the 1960s.
The fact the sketches still exist makes them rare artworks knowing that Lagerfeld said in a 2007 interview that he "throws everything away" and that he keeps no archives of his own.
