EXCLUSIVE: Comrades Steven Bassil and Louis Hatem Win 2 Seats in NDU 2022 Elections
Comrades Steven Bassil from the Faculty of Business Administration& Economics and Louis Hatem from the Faculty of Engineering won 2 seats in the 2022 elections of Notre Dame University (NDU).
Head of the Students and Youth Department at the Kataeb party Elias Semaan said in an interview with kataeb.org: “The Kataeb Party ran for the elections in three faculties : Faculty of Business Administration& Economics, Faculty of Engineering , and Faculty of Humanities. We won a seat in the Faculty of Engineering with 25% of the vote, and we also won a seat in the Faculty of Engineering with 16% of the vote.”
Semaan, who praised the hard work of the electoral machine, described the electoral process as calm, stressing that the Kataeb Party was capable of maintaining its presence and representation at Notre Dame University (NDU), despite all the aid that students received from other parties that competed with it in these elections.
