Did the UAE Expel Hariri?

The media affairs advisor at the office of former Prime Minister Saad Hariri, Hussein Al-Wajeh responded to Al Akhbar’s article titled "UAE Expels Hariri" published today.

Al-Wajeh wrote on "X" platform: "While children in Gaza are being slaughtered, some spend their time inventing lies and fabricating dreams."

Earlier today, Al-Akhbar reported that the authorities of the United Arab Emirates asked the former Prime Minister Saad Hariri to leave its territory "at the request of Saudi Arabia, without knowing the reasons, nor an explanation for the timing".

The newspaper also reported that Hariri recently visited Turkey and met with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, with whom he has a good relationship. It is known that Erdogan offered Hariri a place to stay if he decided to reside in Turkey.

News had spread about Hariri laying off 70 employees from his media team and his advisors and selling the Future Movement headquarters in the Spears area in Beirut.

It was also reported that an entrepreneur bought Hariri convoy cars for the benefit of a third party.
