Internal Security Forces reported a significant decline in major crimes committed during the first seven months of 2023 compared to the same months of the previous year.

They reported the arrest of 7,435 individuals during this period.

They stated, "In July, the crime rate witnessed a decrease of 36% compared to the same month of the previous year."

They concluded that despite the challenging circumstances facing Lebanon, ISF personnel are fully prepared to carry out their security duties to ensure the protection of Lebanese citizens, tourists, and residents.
