Caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, met with the Minister of Telecommunications in the caretaker government, Johnny Corm, along with the Director-General of Ogero, Imad Kreidieh, and the Director-General of Investment and Maintenance at the Ministry of Telecommunications, Bassel Al-Ayoubi.
After the meeting, Corm warned against a real danger to the telecommunications sector, stating that they need resources to manage it.
They plan to consult with the Minister of Finance, Youssef Khalil, on the measures that can be taken to solve this problem.
The ministry has not received any funds for maintenance since the beginning of the year, except for salaries.
