George Clooney and his wife Amal have launched a competition to fundraise the Clooney Foundation for Justice (CFJ)’s project, their charity which campaigns against human rights abuses around the world.

The competition would offer two people the chance to win a lunch date with them at their Lake Como home in Italy.

"Pinch yourself, because this isn't a dream. You're going on a double date with George and Amal Clooney!” the charity said.

"George and Amal will welcome you and a guest to their Lake Como home in Italy for lunch, laughs and the chance to get to know this amazing couple on a personal level. You'll bond with George and Amal over a delicious meal, take in the spectacular views of the lake and share a celebratory toast all together. Plus, you'll take some incredible photos to remember it all by,” it added.

Seat prices range between $10 for 100 entries and $5,000 for 50,000 entries and purchases will be open until 14 July.
