Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie has reportedly engaged in negotiations to star in Marvel Studios' "The Eternals", a superhero team adventure project.

One part of the story involves the love affair between Ikaris, a man fueled by cosmic energy, and Sersi, who enjoys moving amongst humans, sources told the Hollywood Reporter.

Jolie has never starred in a superhero film before, though she played a role in a 2007 adaptation of Mark Millar’s comic book "Wanted".
