EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell on Tuesday said preventing the spread of the Gaza conflict to Lebanon at all costs should be one of the top priorities in the region.
He added that the other priorities are securing the release of the Israeli captives held in Gaza and paving the way for settling the crisis.
Borrell also warned Israel that a military solution in Gaza would not be sufficient if it did not lead to a political plan.
