MP Bilal Abdallah revealed that cholera has spread in 20 districts in Lebanon.

“We have no clear reports about the measures taken by water services in the regions, and cholera is not similar to corona in terms of spread. We will witness hundreds and thousands of infections because of spread method,” Abdallah said in an interview via Al-Jadeed.

He also considered that no one would have protection from cholera infection because it transmits through water and vegetables.

 “Local and concerned authorities shall take the necessary measures,” he added.

Regarding presidential elections, he said: “Our candidate for the presidency is still Michel Mouawad, unless developments emerge, we would discuss them with our allies and with Mouawad as well.”
