Rebuilding economies after conflict is a daunting challenge, especially in the Middle East, where decades of war have left lasting scars on economic structures and societies. Amid a shifting political landscape, a critical window of opportunity has emerged to support post-conflict recovery. International financial assistance will be crucial, yet the key question remains: how can reconstruction efforts and implementing policies deliver sustained economic performance and improve people’s lives? The high cost of inaction not only increases the risk of reverting to instability but also erodes the confidence of both international and regional stakeholders. Genuine recovery requires more than short-term financial injections; it demands a comprehensive approach that focuses on rebuilding institutions, implementing long-term reforms and fostering economic resilience.

Kataeb Media Department issued the following statement:
The media's "slanderers" come and go, reappearing at the behest of their controllers. This was evident over the past two days after a series of interviews made by Kataeb Leader MP Samy Gemayel.
Those "slanderers" have become well-known and are no longer taken seriously in media institutions, but they find some digital platforms to spread their venom.
Those "slanderers" are exposed, despicable, trivial, and deceitful, as even their supporters describe them, not us. To those supporters, they are merely an outlet for insults and vulgar, malicious speech.
We have grown accustomed to them—mouthpieces that only speak what their controllers provide, often without understanding the content. This was demonstrated when one of them went on a long tirade against an idea that no one had expressed, falsely attributing it to the Kataeb Leader. Meanwhile, another fervent critic resorted to personal attacks after failing to respond with reason and logic.
To the primary handler, the leadership of Hezbollah: investing in those "slanderers" has become a farce. Their intellectual, political, and moral void has turned into a liability, and they are paying the price for following your misguided directives.
If you have something to say, convey it through your party members and officials, who have been missing from the screens since you decided to open a front of bravado and arrogance. Your media and security games have become tiresome. We have been accustomed to them for over two decades, ever since you decided to stifle freedom and dominate decision-making in Lebanon.
