Munitions-Laden Van Targeted on Lebanese Roadway as Israeli Airstrikes Hit Several Vehicles

An Israeli airstrike targeted a vehicle on the Aley - Qmatiyeh road.

As of now, reports do not indicate any casualties or details about the target.

Earlier, an Israeli reconnaissance aircraft launched a missile targeting a vehicle in the town of Bchamoun, according to Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA). The strike hit a Rapid car close to the Tabesh Mosque, where the driver reportedly managed to escape without being injured.

Shortly after, an Israeli drone reportedly targeted another van on the Araya road, leading to a fire that destroyed the vehicle. Witnesses described hearing several explosions emanating from the burning van, which had reportedly been transporting munitions. The presence of weaponry in the vehicle became evident as missiles and ammunition were scattered across the roadway following the strike and the subsequent explosions. 

"A van belonging to Hezbollah was targeted in an Israeli strike on the Kahhale road and its driver killed," a security official told AFP, confirming that the vehicle was carrying munitions.
