According to "Al-Nahar," it is expected that a general assembly of the Association of Banks in Lebanon will be held in the middle of this month to agree on extending the mandate of the Board of Directors for another year.

This decision comes due to the lack of willingness for anyone to take over the presidency of the association in these critical circumstances and the confrontations with depositors.
