Lawmaker Paula Yacoubian on Saturday stated that the Kataeb Party’s recent years' performance demonstrated that it was an opposition party and could not be equated to other political parties.

“The presidential elections are essential to pulling Lebanon out of its crisis and separating it from the warring factions. We are attempting to avoid a presidential vacuum,” Yacoubian said in an interview via Al-Jadeed.
