France, Vietnam Say Coronavirus Patients ‘Cured’

"There is no longer any patient (of novel coronavirus infection) hospitalized in France. The last patient hospitalized in Lyon is cured. He is no longer infectious and can return to his home," French Health Minister Olivier Veran said during a press conference on Monday.

The French government guaranteed precaution measures, refusing to close down the country's border or impose control at the frontiers with Italy, where the virus has killed seven.

In its turn, Vietnam’s health ministry reported on Tuesday that all 16 people infected with a new coronavirus in the country have been cured, adding that no new cases were recorded since February 13.

The last known patient, a 50-year-old man, has recovered and is in good condition, the ministry said in a statement.
