Lebanese Authorities Trace Source of Forged Passports Held by Assad Family Members
After a thorough investigation by Lebanese authorities, it was determined that the passports recently found in the possession of the wife and daughter of Dureid Al-Assad, the son of Refaat al-Assad, at Beirut Airport were not issued by the Syrian embassy in Lebanon, as initially suspected. Instead, they were issued by the Immigration Department in Aleppo, MTV broadcaster reported on Monday.

Winners of First Round of Beirut Bar Elections
The results of the first round of the elections for the Beirut Bar Association are as follows:
- Labib Harfouch: 2264 votes
- Abdo Lahoud: 2031 votes
- Fadi Masri: 1929 votes
- Elie Klimos: 1869 votes
- Iskandar Elias: 1843 votes
- Wajih Massaad: 1531 votes
- Alexandre Najjar, elected as substitute member, received 1528 votes.
The second round to elect the President of the BBA is currently underway.
