What Are the New Sports at the Paris Olympics 2024?

The Paris Olympics 2024 will begin on 26 July and will go on till 11 August. The 2024 Sumer Games will include 28 returning sports and four new additions with 329 gold medals on offer.

Out of the 32 sports, one is making its Olympics debut.

Which are these four new additions?

Breakdancing, or breaking, is making its debut in the Olympics. The other three additions are Skateboarding, surfing, and sport climbing. Karate, baseball, and softball were part of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics but won’t be returning this time around.

No Indian athlete has qualified for the four sports added to the Paris Games.

India won seven medals at Tokyo Olympics 2020 including one gold which came through Neeraj Chopra in the javelin throw.
 
The other medals that India won were two silver medals and four bronze medals.
