When asked by "Al Hurra" newspaper about a potential agreement between the United States and Israel in managing Hezbollah issue and whether the U.S. has requested Israel not to exacerbate tensions with Hezbollah and involve the U.S. in a broader conflict, U.S. State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said, "I won't go into the details of internal discussions with the Israeli government."

"We have repeatedly expressed one of our main goals: to prevent this conflict from spreading, which means preventing further conflict in northern Israel with Hezbollah and preventing its expansion to other countries in the region," Miller added.
