Lebanon's General Security has announced plans to ease the return of Syrian nationals currently residing in Lebanon, following recent developments in Syria. According to information shared by LBCI, these measures will enable Syrians in Lebanon to return to their homeland through the Masnaa border crossing.

In a clear threatening message, Al Akhbar newspaper displayed a blurred picture of Opposition presidential candidate Jihad Azour next to Mohamad Chatah, who was the victim of the assassinations that took place from 2005 till 2013.
The picture of Chatah was published although he was not mentioned in the article titled "The Opposition Announces Azour's Candidacy".
