Neymar Agrees Pay Cut to Rejoin Barcelona

Brazilian football star Neymar is likely returning to Barcelona after reaching a wage cut agreement to leave Paris Saint-Germain only two years after joining the club, as reported by Spanish outlet "Sport".

"Relax, I'll come," Neymar reportedly wrote his former Barcelona teammates in a WhatsApp group.

Media reports claimed that Neymar is set to agree to take half of his $700,000 per week salary, and to drop a lawsuit he had filed against the club over unpaid bonuses.

"I want players willing to give everything to defend the honor of the jersey and to join the club project," PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi told France Football recently, as he made it clear that he doesn't want "superstar behavior" at the club.

"Those who do not want that, or do not understand, we will meet and we will talk to each other. Nobody forced him to sign here, nobody pushed him. He came knowingly to join a project," he added.
