Shea Visits the Two U.S. Coast Guard Fast Response Cutters in Beirut Port
U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Dorothy Shea visited the two fast response cutters USCGC John Scheuerman (WPC 1146) and USCGC Clarence Sutphin Jr. (WPC 1147) in Beirut Port.
“The Two U.S. Coast Guard fast response cutters are an indicative of a strong partnership between the United States and the Lebanese Armed Forces,” U.S Embassy of Beirut wrote on twitter.
“The visit comes on the heels of the Lebanese Armed Forces completing an annual maritime exercise with U.S. Naval Forces Central Command,” it added.
