Army Commander Joseph Aoun on Wednesday assured that the security situation in Lebanon is stable, stressing that the country is fully ready to receive expatriates and tourists during the summer season.

During a reception ceremony held in his honor by the Lebanese ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Aoun outlined the importance of bilateral ties between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia, praising the Kingdom’s continuous support to the Lebanese state and its army, as well as the key role played by the Lebanese expats in fostering this relation.

Aoun is on an official visit to Saudi Arabia at the request of his Saudi counterpart.
