Salameh to Be Investigated Tomorrow Regarding German Arrest Warrant
The attorney general at the Court of Cassation Judge Imad Kabalan summoned Banque du Liban Governor Riad Salameh to an interrogation session tomorrow (Wednesday) to question him regarding the content of the German arrest warrant on charges of embezzlement, forgery, fraud, and money laundering.
A judicial source informed Al Anbaa that Kabalan will follow the same procedures he adopted in the French arrest warrant regarding the interrogation of Salameh.
He will place him under investigation, impose a travel ban on him, and send a communication to the German judiciary through the Interpol General Secretariat to inform it of the execution of the red notice.
