Report: Canada Plans Massive Evacuation in Event of War in Lebanon
Canada is gearing up for a significant evacuation of its citizens from Lebanon in the event of a full-scale conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, Israel’s Channel 12 reported.
The news outlet detailed a conversation held on Friday between Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz and Canadian Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly.
Joly informed Katz that the Canadian military is actively preparing to evacuate up to 45,000 individuals from Lebanon.
